New Rainboots

Thank goodness we didn't need new rainboots for anything other than photos!!!

Finally Spring!

Elli and I spent a few minutes enjoying the sun and our Tulip Tree that is blooming.

Jessica

What a great and beautiful subject...I have photographed Jessica since she was 3 yrs. old. How time has flown by. She actually is in class with Daniel now, small world. It's hard to believe this was taken in the winter, but we actually had a small break from RAIN AND COLD!

Rock Star

Daniel's first live performance. We were camping over Spring Break and they had Karaoke one night. Daniel played by himself with no music, then spent the rest of the night playing with others who were singing.

What is it?

Ice in the River

I think these are referred to as "ice bells". The river flows over limbs that hang down and the ice forms. I'll have to say I've lived here all my life and was so excited to find these. It took a camera for me to actually stop and take notice. I wonder how many obscure things I miss on a daily basis because I am not looking closely enough?

Snow in the Cove

This was a beautiful day. The sky was clear and the weather very nice since all we seem to see lately is rain. It was still a little cold out, but a great day for a drive and photos.

Cabin in the woods

We went to the Cove a couple of weekends ago, and as you can see there was a little snow left. This was the last day the loop was open before road maintenance begins, it sure will be different.

About Me

My photo
I consider myself an AMATEUR photographer. The word AMATEUR in Latin comes from the word "AMATOR" meaning lover, devotee, enthusiastic pursuer of an objective. Over time we have come to use the word in a negative sense, as though somehow an amateur is less than professional, but as I see it, I don't want to lose the "love" of the art. I am passionate about blessing others with the gift I've been blessed with.
